ABOUT

Studio.JPEG

Following a BA Hons in 3D Design, and spells as both an Interior Designer and Garden Designer, I worked for an international charity for 12 years.

After moving to Cornwall in 2017, I discovered that the magnificent coastal scenery and wild, rugged moorlands inspired me to pick up my paintbrushes again.

I love to paint en plein air, immersed in the landscape which has remained unchanged for centuries, but which, paradoxically, also constantly changes due to the variances of light, weather and season.

When the Cornish weather doesn't allow for painting outdoors, I can be found in my studio, just off the moors, midway between Penzance and St. Ives.

Using both oil & cold wax and acrylics & mixed media on paper, canvas and board, I aim to capture the essence of West Cornwall in my landscapes and seascapes.

I am also an avid photographer, and have successfully gained my LRPS, the first level distinction from the Royal Photographic Society.

I enjoy photographing subjects across a wide variety of genres, and am always eager to explore new possibilities, and try to continuously push the boundaries of my photography and actively seek out opportunities to learn new skills.

I have recently been exploring the possibilities of Photoshop in creating digital art.
